Malabrigo Poncho
Here is the poncho. Yarn is Malabrigo worsted in the Stone Chat colorway. I used about 2.5 skeins of yarn. I really like it. I never really even considered ponchos before MG asked for one. I really like it. I think I will use it a lot this fall. MG tried to clam it but as the yarn was a gift to me from GAL its mine. The color is close here.
Now I need to decide what to knit next. Or maybe finish one of the other projects I have going.
Remember to check out the shop (link in sidebar) everything must go.

Happy Birthday Love
Thursday, September 11, 2008
September, 11
I hope today we all remember the fallen, and the brave Men and Women who answered the call. Let it be a day of remembrance not a day of fear. Let us remember that we all came together that day as one people, united to say we will not live in fear, we will not change the things we believe in, We will not change who we are. We are all Americans. We are all citizens of the world.

Gift Knitting
In other news: So far the day care is going pretty well DCG and DCB (day care boy and day care girl) are really nice kids and seem to enjoy playing with the MK's. DCG and MG have become fast friends. MG spent the night at her house last night. It is nice for her to have a friend she gets to spend so much time with. MG is starting to learn that girls can be really mean to each other. One little girl in her class that she was friends with last year likes to try to get MG in trouble with the teacher. Mrs. W is wise to the ways of 2nd grade girls so MG is not in trouble but did have to change seats. There was also a boy in the other 2nd grade class kicked out of school this week because he started a fire in the boys restroom. Nice eh?

Bad Blogger, No cookie
I have been trying (not well I might add) a little graphic design. The design part is not hard for me but the execution has been less than fun computer wise. I'll get it right one of these days.
The MK's and Hubby enjoyed their time with family over the weekend but are glad to be home. MG thinks it is cool she has so many Aunts and Uncles she had never met before. Hubby says his Grandpa is doing well.
In other Hubby related news He will be the ShelterSkelter this year. SS is a Halloween show that's been running for 12 years. It is made up of short plays that change every year. He and I were very involved with this show when we were first married.(the first 2 years it ran, The best years really lol) Should be fun to see him in it again. More info on the show later. Hubby gets to play a creepy bad guy. He loves creepy bad guys. The MK's will not be seeing this show. The creepy bad guy is REALLY creepy and VERY bad.
Also for Hubby the Movie he is in For the Love of Amy is being considered for the Sundance film Festival. Its 25 seconds of screen time but still... It's freaking Sundance! and Hubby gets pretty much the only laugh moment in the whole thing. Ya we are geeking out just a bit.
And as to Politics. This just keeps getting better and better. I have been watching the RNC. It is always nice to see what the other guy thinks. I must say they don't have as good a lighting guy. I found the whole program last night to be pretty blah. Tonight should be much more interesting.
